The Helping Hands Service Club met at lunch on Friday, April 7, 2017 in the gym at Wellington Elementary. We performed a service project for Olive Crest, an organization that provides shelter and care for abused and neglected children. They help families in crisis and try to restore broken families. We assembled sling bags for youth in foster care and made birthday buckets for children celebrating their special day while in temporary care. We also assembled hygiene kits for children in Zambia.
